Electroplating process and types

2. Tin plating: The corrosion products of tin are harmless to human beings and are easy to break. Tin plating is widely used in food canned packaging products, drinking utensils, tableware, and many parts that need to be brazed in the electronics industry.
3. Nickel plating: Nickel plating has a wide range of applications and can be used for both protective decorative coatings and functional repair plating. Used for household appliances, hardware products, automobiles, and other parts.
4. Chrome plating: Chrome can maintain luster for a long time in the atmosphere. The chrome plating layer has high hardness, excellent wear resistance, and low friction coefficient. Therefore, chrome plating is often used for protective decorative coatings to prevent the base metal from rusting and beautifying the appearance.
5. Brush plating: The metal positive ions in the plating solution obtain electrons on the surface of the workpiece (cathode) under the action of the electric field force and deposit on the surface to form an electric forging layer. The thickness of the coating can reach 0.01-0.5mm, the quality of the coating is good, and the bonding strength is high.
